CLINIC POLICY

It is important that you read & understand the following prior to booking. By booking you agree to the clinic policies:

Appointment confirmation & cancellation:

A confirmation text message will be sent 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment as a reminder. Please reply to confirm your appointment. At Cosmetik Aesthetik we understand life circumstances can occur last second but we kindly ask that if you wish to reschedule or cancel your booked appointment, that you give us at least 24 hours notice, a $50 fee will be kept if bookings are cancelled after 24 hour notice has surpassed. Bookings that require to be rearranged can be done on the online booking system.

Cosmetik Aesthetik are by appointment only, payment must be made in full at the end of treatment.

Arrival time & lateness: 

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, if you are running late please contact the clinic as we don’t want you to miss out on your treatment. Cosmetik Aesthetik have rights to cancel any persons 15 minutes late to their appointment as client safety of medical treatments will be maintained.

Accompanied persons:

At Cosmetik Aesthetik we have for safety & legal reasons the rights to decline any extra persons coming inside the treatment room. If you require a person to accompany you to your appointment please let us know in advance so we can try accomodate to your circumstances otherwise they can be seated in the waiting area for the duration of your treatment.

Treatment disclaimer:

At Cosmetik Aesthetik we desire to always achieve the best results to the best of our ability, using high quality products & treatments. We also strive to work holistically with you to get you the goals you want to achieve within a realistic timeframe, as well within realistic expectations. Client education will be completed in a consultation to gauge your expectations, goals, the risks & benefits. Result will vary between clients due to anatomy & many other factors, which will be discussed in consultation. Another clients results should not be expected within your treatment, be aware you might need multiple appointments to achieve your desired result. Clients must be deemed medically fit & suitable for treatment following a consultation with us. It is the clients responsibility to inform any medical history changes & must be notified at the start of your next appointment to the treating clinician. We have the right to decline treatment if deemed medically unsuitable or unnecessary. Our clients safety is our priority at Cosmetik Aesthetik & we take all due care in performing the services, we are not liable for any side effects which occur as a result of the client’s own negligence. We also reserve the right to decline or cancel further management of any client if in the clinical opinion of the clinician’s client is unsuited for further care.

Refunds:

As there is no guarantee with medical procedures, it is essential that the patient understands procedures are not an exact science. Every human body is different & may react differently. Whatever the outcome, the product & or service has been provided it is therefore not possible for the clinician to refund procedure fees.  This is non-negotiable. We will make every reasonable effort to achieve the aesthetic outcome the patient requests, however no guarantees are offered in relation to the effects of any procedure performed.

Asymmetry:

All humans are asymmetrical. While we will endeavour to improve the appearance of asymmetry if requested by you, we make no warranties, guarantees or representations in relation to symmetry. We do not offer complimentary treatments in the case of asymmetry, whether pre- or post-treatment. If you request we provide you with services to correct or improve post-treatment asymmetry, you will be liable to pay any fees and associated costs as advised at the time of treatment. 

Medical emergencies:

In the unlikely event of an unforeseen emergency, you will be evacuated to a hospital at the discretion of attending paramedics. Please note that you will be liable to pay all costs associated with your transfer & care directly to the providers in accordance with their usual practices.

Post treatment review:

Review of procedures are done at two weeks after the cosmetic injectable treatment, a follow up message will be completed to all clients in the following days of all treatments to check in on you & your post treatment recovery. Asymmetry, typical post treatment swelling, lumpiness will not be reviewed for at least two weeks unless advised otherwise by the clinician.  If there are signs of infections or other serious complications it is your responsibility to inform the clinic there are signs of serious complications. Education is provided in appointment for what to distinguish as signs and symptoms of complications. Due to the nature of cosmetic injectables, Cosmetik Aesthetik reserves the right to refuse a remedy if you do not notify us of an adverse reaction or unsatisfactory result within two weeks of your treatment.

Gift vouchers:

Please keep gift vouchers safe as lost or stolen voucher will not be replaced or refunded. Gift vouchers are valid 12 months from date of issue, gift vouchers may not be refunded or exchanged for cash. Please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule appointment to avoid gift voucher being redeemed. This gift voucher must be used by one person in one visit. Physical gift voucher must be brought to the appointment.
